Humans since 1982

Humans since 1982は、同じ1982年生まれの2人、スウェーデン人のPer Emanuelssonとドイツ人のBastian Bischoffが設立したアートユニット。

Vitra Design Museumで2013年に開催された “Lightopia” でも展示されていた “Collection of Light (2011-2012)” は、昆虫の標本のようにLEDが列ぶ印象的な作品。無機質なイメージを持つLEDのわずかな輝きがケースの中で連続することで、美しい生物のように見えてくるのが不思議だ。

他にもLEDを使用した “Light Culture (2013)” や “Light Line (2013)” などを発表している彼ら。現在開催中のArt Week in Miami – Art MiamiやDesign Miami では、多くの時計を使用する “A million Times Project (2013)” などが出品されている。

光をテーマとした彼らの新しい作品と会うのが楽しみ！
